Helped the kid do his first mods. He put an SE Hi-Flow air cleaner, V&H Short Shots and a Stage 1 tune on the '19 Slim. He's becoming a gearhead like his Dad, makes me proud!

If there's no pics, it didn't happen.

It was a real turn the world upside down. But now days, Anytime I can make a time for a ride, I try to get out there.
I can't imagine what it is like to see your partner decline like that, but It sounds like yall have it managed well, which is great.
Fran, I'm surprised you're on full disability for fibromyalgia. Typically don't picture people that can blast around on a heavy bike being exempt from the working world. Also, it's wonderful you can afford an expensive bike on SS disability.

That's because I'm not. I said "It's one of" the reasons. Not that it is the only reason.
There's a laundry list of things I didnt mention because they weren't relevant to making someone feel better about their situation.
Also I bought my bike out of backpay. I saw the chance to accomplish a dream I had as a kid and decided it was well worth it, especially since owning a motorcycle here entitled me to free parking and I was in need of a vehicle, and I've known many people turn to motorcycles as a means to help them cope with mental health issues.
You buy a vehicle, and once it's paid off, there isn't much money it costs afterwards. Tabs, Tires, gas, maint costs. Not exactly prohibitively expensive.
Just because you can't see a disability, and you see a tiny snapshot of someone's good moments, doesn't mean the rest of the nightmare didn't happen or isn't still there.
You don't see the medical and psychiatric appointments I have to go too. You dont see the hospitalizations, or the bad days. I post positive and helpful things in this forum, not my life struggles on a daily basis.
It's better to ask, then to assume.

I'm already trying to shop for goodies for my daughter's first bike. Told the wife if I don't hurry they might not get here in time, there's only 15 more years until she can get her license!

Fitted the Kuryakyn Zombie Passenger pegs using a DK Customs adapter kit.
Also mounted one of my saddlebags as a swingarm bag.
