Most importantly, I am glad you were not hurt. Good move on the curtains though. Only BMW riders have curtains in their garage

Ordered some goodies for a DIY oil catch can/external breather. Should be in it for less than $45. About 5ft of 1/4" silicone tubing, a 1/4x1/4x1/4 T fitting, hose clamps, and a cheap universal fluid reservoir that I'll be flipping upside down, drilling the breather holes on the can, and mounting somewhere up by the oil cooler most likely.

@murphc13 I have the step up on my 2018 Fat Boy. I like it. To each their own.

Here are a couple of pics:

Hope I still like it 🤞🏻 after these (2” dia. bars 14” tall) get installed:

I find it OK. I’m 5’9”. No issues with positioning. Feels fine riding the bike. Like the lower built in support and also that it makes me feel locked into the bike. To be honest got this after riding only a couple of hundred miles…so while I was OK with the stock seat positioning…and I’m ok with this seats positioning…don’t remember if they are different.

If buying again…and looking at a 2 up seat…I would also look at the C&C Seats that some on here have bought as well. Do like that you can customize those seats. They look good as well and those who have them rate them well. Not to say I wouldn’t end up buying the Step Up after comparing…just would have liked the opportunity to compare/test out.

GL.

I hear ya.At leastnif you're in the US you get more opportunity to compare.Over here in Ireland that's a bit difficult.

Curious though. How do you get the thing off and on? it seems like it goes behind the front/under the plate?
