Deeper and louder exhaust tone, makes a much nicer rumble over the stock cats.
Acceleration seems smoother but it's been months since the last ride.
Still waiting on the Kuryakyn lay down plate bracket, sold out/none in stock.
as a freebie mod, i removed the smaller internal bracket from the plate, it only took a slight bit of pressure to lay it forward...didnt cost a dime

Yep! Well, it's C&C who makes seats for Whiplash. I got the C&C Fastback, which is the same as the Whiplash Slipstream. Absolutely love the seat

can you take a pic of the bottom edge of your left side bag? I would love to see the clearance. Thanks

Corbin makes a good seat as well. Very stiff from what I've read, but the owners always seem to really like them.

What are you looking for in a seat?
I was looking at a Corbin Wall, but its a 550$ Seat. It allows all the design aspects I wanted for a stylized "Racing/Bike Night Solo Seat" But Saddlemen's Knuckle Profiler with the same level of customization ended up being 390$
And it is a really good seat for both riding really hard, and it looks epic. It handles my crazy full throttle and lean over tank riding shenanigans perfectly. Plus it's low profile tail still lets me throw a backpack on, or strap a backpack to my sissy bar.
Two things the Corbin seat would get in the way of.
If you're looking for pure comfort, the Saddlemen Explorer RS fits that niche really well at 436$ ready to ship from GetLowered. It has a nice kick up with a slight curve that gives you that Bucket Seat effect. Which is key for comfort.

I would only go with the Corbin Wall if I was after a Track Only seat, or on a bike that I only use for ripping around with a bunch of squids and stunt riders on a weekend.

Personally I would really like to try the Harley Hammock seat, and the Lepera Cherokee to compare them to the Explorer RS, but they are expensive, 550$ and 493$ respectively.
Too expensive to test them long term.

550$!!!!I live in Ireland...so add 100-150 for shipping and then about the same on top for import duty.I want so.ething that looks the ****(I want orange stitching) and is comfy and doesn't push me forward.
I think I might like to sit further back but that assumption is based off the idea that my legs feel like they'd like to be a little more stretched out but my arms don't so I'm not 100%on my decision here.

Both the Knuckle Profiler Seat, and the Explorer RS from Saddlemen will move you back about an inch. Explorer sits a little higher. Profiler about the same height.
Both can be done with Orange Stitching.
You can see all of the customizations that Saddlemen might be able to do here https://www.getlowered.com/blog/cust...r-your-harley/

I think it's only the step up available for the fat bob dude.A lot more options seem to be available for the touring bikes eg the Drag Specialties predator 3 extended reach or Lapera daddy long legs.

You can get a Knuckle Profiler for the Fat Bob.
https://saddlemen.com/index.php?rout...=FXFBS+Fat+Bob
But you're right they don't make an Explorer seat for the Fat Bob.
