Little heat paint and good to go!
update, I have been running the torque insert in the end cap bolt. I always figured it would do more running it in the actual baffle hole but the baffle blocks access. I pulled the baffle, did some grinding. Now I can run it in the baffle bolt hole.it is now tight to the baffle. I also pulled the packing of the baffle. I gained low end and it sounds amazing!

I just recoated them with high temp grill paint which held up well. Finish wasn't quite the same but it looked better than the rust spots lol. I've since swapped to 2-1, so now they're just sitting in a box.

I wanted to have an even gap between my mirror arms and blinker housings. Unfortunately on my clutch housing there’s a small tab that the blinker housing rests on that was preventing me from turning it any other way than where it was stock. The notch I made can be seen in the first picture.

My right arm and hand were going numb on recent rides, so I decided to change up bars. Wanted to go with FXR Division split bars, and actually found a set of used ones on eBay, but seller did not want to take much less than new. I’m too cheap to pay that much for used parts.
Ended up getting 1.5 diameter 14” Tbars. Very nice quality/PC and made in USA. Also got a throttle sleeve and some Biltwell Kung Fu grips. Years ago, I was at a dealer that had a bike with these grips and when I put my hand on them, they were the most comfortable grips I ever felt. Figured I would finally give them a try.
Not ready to install everything yet, but did some prep work, and ran pull cords thru bars and installed clutch side grip and grip on throttle sleeve.
