Fitted the Tallboy seat. I quite like the look actually. Isn't as bulky as I thought it was going to be and it has greatly improved the riding position. The low rider stance is still there but it's just taken the edge of the strain that I was feeling in my hips and back. Feels much more relaxed and all-day comfortable now.
OK, it's lost a little of the parred-down low rider look but it's much nicer to ride. At 6' I'm not super tall but I do have lower back and sciatic nerve issues and sitting too long with my hip joint scrunched up isn't good.
At a stand still it didn't feel radically different to the original, but when riding it feels significantly more spacious. Also, my legs aren't as splayed when I put my feet down so it feels more secure and controllable at junctions or when paddling the bike round on loose surfaces. It does feel wider than stock but that's no bad thing as I had a habit of hitting my shins on the pegs when putting my feet down, and now I don't.

The foam is firmer than the standard seat and doesn't squish around underneath me. But its thicker too so if anything it's better at absorbing bumps.
It also allows me to use my legs more to shift weight and by slightly lowering the reach to the bars, steering input feels more direct. It seems easier to flick the bike from side to side. All in all, money well spent.

The tall boy with 6.5 pull back risers and dk’s highway pegs perfect for me. Glad I did not go with forward controls.

on my 2020 I went from the stock 1 up to the stock 2 up low rider seat then I bought the tall boy. I am also 6’ tall. I recently put the stock 2 up low rider seat back on and Took it right back off. The tall boy is the answer to comfort with the mids. Love this seat.
