I prefer a more minimal looking bike. I cannot stand the way that fairing looks on the ST and I'm not a fan of saddle bags. I do wish they put cruise control on the S though. My dealer also said they have no idea when they'll even be getting any STs in stock. I might get a quarter fairing or road warrior some day just for the comfort but it's also taken me a long time to not hate those fairings either. I just traded in my '21 Street Bob and I absolutely love the way that bike looks but I didn't like the skinny rear tire, spokes, single disk front brake and small gas tank so I just traded it for the FXLRS instead of modifying the Street Bob. I look at the '21 Lowrider S before I bought the Street Bob and I really didn't like the gauges mounted on the tank. Since they put the 117 in the '22 and moved the gauge up it was a done deal for me.
Check out some of the companies mentioned above for their single gauge mount options. I love the location of it, barely have to look down to see it.

Why on earth did they tell me I couldn't do that? I would have bought their seat if I knew I could have run the stock pillion.

Intalled the 4" pullback risers today. Only part I want to extend is the brake hose, its OK with the retainer clip off, but I want to get a longer one. I tried loosening the bajo, and ABS fitting, but it didn't help.
I thought I would have to change the upper clutch cable, but there is plenty without even re-routing it. All other cables were plenty long enough.
I put a Mustang Standard Touring seat on a while back, they told me about the same thing, they "didn't know" if the stock passenger pillon would work with it. It was no big deal for me, I rarely have a passenger so I bought it anyways. But, when I instlled it, the stock passenger seat fit just fine. I leave it off, and only takes a couple minutes to put on if I have a rider. Probably they would like to sell their $$ passenger seat.

As I mentioned in a post above, I had the same issue with the brake line. It works with the retaining clip removed (I left the small rubber bushing on for added insurance) and looks fine, doesn't move around. I'm not anxious to bleed the ABS brakes myself but I am still considering slightly longer cables. Which top clamp replacement do you go with?
