I miss my '98 Wide Glide, by the way. Great bike. Can't say that I had any self control on changing it up, though.

Very nice! I will keep mine even if I purchase a 2018+ Heritage
Not the best pic, but the very first one I took. Right after I got back from the test ride before I went inside to sign the papers LOL

Sweet. That bike was made for V&H Big Radius pipes.

I know this is off topic, so I'll quit after this, but that's a good-looking bike. Those pipes are killer. I'm sure it sounded fantastic. That's my only complaint about the M8. The sound just isn't quite there.

Thank you! I still have the bike. It does have a great sound. Good tone. Loud but not too loud. And it's not the M8 so it sounds like a bike should.

That said, I am looking for 2018+ Heritage. Not a trade - an addition. The WG is worth nothing except to me. Having some experience with a Heritage rental and a few test rides, it has that annoying hum. The bikes I've been looking at have Rineharts. They are ok. If I have to, I'll do the TABs with zombies. F*** it LOL

Installed RRI front LED turn signals and smoked covers up front and back.

Has anyone here ever identified what makes this mildy annoying M8 mechanical hum? I've looked and looked, and can't seem to find the answer, although every M8 seems to have it.

counter balancer’s. They are gear driven. The old softail’s were chain driven.

Any fix to the noise? (you could refer me to another thread if there is one)

Finally waved the white flag of surrender. Put the Sport Glide in the yard barn and dug the battery tender out of storage.

No big winter projects planned. I want to put on a fender extender, so I'll get to that at some point (I should probably get that ordered ). The windshield bolts that came with my FXRT fairing rusted in no time. I need to replace those with stainless.
