No they are 1 1/4s. There are some 1 1/2's out there that I liked a lot but these have an inward bend which gives a little less tip to tip width. I find the 34" plus width of most apes and beach bars just a bit too wide for my liking.

Just finished my 3rd decently long ride through some twisty country roads and I'm starting to get my corner speed back.

Here is a straight on shot, kinda hard to make out but it's the best I've got for now.

I bolted the GIVI toolbox to L-brackets and the L-brackets are bolted to a piece of 1"x1" angle iron that is attached to the two fender brace bolts.

c.t is hanging tuff with negative snow so far and more importantly no salt. I have not been able to take advantage of the 50 degrees we have been averaging between working out of state and refinishing my floors. I plan to get some riding in the next few days as long as my company leaves me be.

Hah I also rode mine today. It likely lost a bit of 2k rpm grunt but the sound with that big baffle makes me grin. A lot of M8 owners cannot say that. And its nothing that makes neighbors hate you other riders not want to run behind you.

Went ahead and did an external breather on the intake. Can’t believe original owner who did big bore never did this. When I pulled air filter, never had a big mess, but always a light oily film on backing plate and TB valve. Drilled two holes in backing plate and ran rubber lines from breather bolts to a T on upper back side of plate. Ran single hose up under tank, down front frame and up under primary to a small breather filter. Can’t say I notice any difference riding, but I always like the idea of keeping the oily mess out of the intake. Very clean - most would never see the mod.

I got a new Sissy Bar for my bike today.
It's a tall narrow more 70s style one from a company called Talous71.
Not pictured is me going ham trying to get the harley sport rack to fit it. I eventually got it to work out, but it spoils the cool factor a bit.
The short sissy bar just sucked all around though. Glad to have a tall one that can actually be used for stuff.

Still got some more changes to make but i'm getting it to where I want......
I got the exhaust heat sheilds ceramic coated in Satin Black, fitted the Killer Customs headlight fairing and a new singarm bag.
Think a saddlemen seat will be next! I would love to fit a legend adjustable air shock to the rear.... it never ends lol
