Now the cold level is proper and now I don't have to worry about the issue any longer.
Oil looks pretty old and bad. Will be nice to replace it with good clean oil at 5000miles.
glad you got that oil sorted. hopefully it didn’t have the burnt smell to go with that black color. Always pull all fluids and replace on anything used that I buy regardless of miles or previous owners info. Just like to start fresh knowing I did things correctly for peace of mind on the road. Usually check the clutch cable also while it’s empty. Perfect time to replace if needed.

I didnt smell any burned smells, it basically just smelled like oil with a little bit of a hint of gasoline but not strongly of it. It's not milky either so I think it's alright.
I got like 700miles left till the 5000 mark, at which point new fluids going in everywhere. Including an ABS flush.

Put on some black, low-profile mirrors. Hated those chrome stock mirrors, big as billboards. These Kuryakyn are much smaller but you can still see everything you need to see behind you and to the side.

Default 2817.7 mile trip on the Softail

I rode my 2019 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim from NJ to Florida to catch the Dolphins vs Giants game with a couple of friends. My friend met me in South Carolina. We rode to The Dirty Shame in Tampa. Stayed in Sarasota. Then I rode across the state to Fort Lauderdale. We caught the Dolphins Giants game. Then I rode back to NJ.

Confirmed all the parts are either on order or in stock for my Deluxe. Over the winter, the bike will get a Progressive suspension upgrade including a Heritage length shock, new American Elite blackwall tires, and black contrast Southern Machine wheels. Looking forward to spring!

Got the powervision tune uploaded and tested the exhaust. Hard to enjoy when it's 27* and the concrete is slippery, but I'm very pleased with the sound so far!

Winter project. Had some space on the right side of the luggage rack so I added a GIVI toolbox.

Left side is full.

Looks like you're set to travel. Awesome setup. The GIVI boxes are great. I added one to the camping/travel trailer I built last year. Pulls great behind the Street Glide. Working on a hitch system for the Pan America to go way off-road. The FLSL is out of the picture for camping trips.
