Went for a breezy 120 mile ride today after installing the MX pegs and laydown plate holder.

Only thing this bike *needs* is a new exhaust.

Which MX pegs are those? Bike looks great.

It's been too cold to ride my FXLRS, so instead I bought it a Fuel Moto RTX Riot 2-1 today within minutes of the Fuel Moto Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale starting.

Cheap ones from Amazon
HERE HERE
, I read some previous reviews so I loosened each spike and added a little loctite to make sure they didn't work loose. Very happy with them, much better than the pegs for me.

Working on some shorty levers for my Street Bob. Waiting for the clear coat to dry overnight. I want to get them reinstalled and hopefully have enough time to get a few modifications done to the side smoker grill before the wife gets back. Maybe cook up some ribs or a butt if it works out well.

My super special street bob sparkle shorty levers.

Just kidding. Chopped, drilled, blasted and painted.

I'm loving these DIY levers, might have to give it a try myself!

Took advantage of some Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and ordered a Powervision PV3 from Fuel Moto, and bought a Cobra El Diablo 2-1 exhaust.

After a bunch of custom fine tuning projects I’ve competed so far on my FXLRS, I’m currently working on fixing the FXLRS Brake pedal position issue of being too low on mid controls. Almost got it done to allow for more adjustment than just the few threads of adjustment on the master cylinder clevis. Being particular about the position of my controls being in the best position for me while riding, I wanted the same pedal height adjustment that the shifter arm has. Just got to find another spacer and longer bolt today to make it complete. Already tested the length and positions and it feels sooooo much better having more leverage on the rear brake pedal. I’ll be sure to post up an update for anyone interested in the same thing with pics after I have it complete and installed on the bike.

Nice Job! What paint did you use for the heat shield? And did the paint degrade over time? Thanks
