Was there a piece of clear protective tape under the pass seat? Mine did, I peeled it off. Hope it wasn't a mistake! Lil decieving, could ya get a sixer in that bag? Looks real nice.
Thank you, I got the bike around the first of November, I took my Street Glide in to trade the day before snow started, they delivered the bike. There was a day or two the first of the year I got 35 miles on it. There was no plastic on the fender, I was just careful with a cloth to not scratch it till I got the solo seat.
I see you got a new user name, I first thought there was a cycle gang in tiffin or something.

Looks GREAT! I LIKE ALOT!! Was it much of a job to do? Any splicing involved? Detailed instructions? Still internally wired in the bars? (Lol, alot of friggin' questions, I know, but I'm REALLY interested.)

I had a shop do the install of my
Bars last week. When they did that I told them not to route the cables for the signals internally. So when I got the parts in for the relocation it was a breeze for me. They did mention some splicing.

Out on a ride currently (stopped for lunch now). Initial impressions of the longer shock are great. The bike just feels "right". Granted, I am used to adventure touring bikes, so your experiences may vary. I got the bike up to some fast speeds (undisclosed) and everything felt really stable even on the rough back roads were I live.

I'm heading down to Wilmington Rd and StRt 350 by Fort Ancient to see how it handles in some turns.

Love that little stretch of road. It's fairly close to the house.
