Over the last few weeks I've installed on my Heritage a Harley Layback LED taillight and a gloss black turn signal light bar with LED bullet turn signals and red lenses. Today I installed a Custom Dynamics SMART Triple Play run-stop-turn module. A cool thing about this module is you can custom program a flash pattern when you hit the brakes. I've set mine to strobe for four seconds and then turn solid. I'm hoping that will make me a lot more visible from behind in traffic.

There's not a lot of chrome on these bikes now. Most of it is polished aluminum and black. I think the only factory chrome on my bike is the headlight ring and the shifter lever. If you like the look of the HDMC derby cover, don't let the fact that it's not chrome stop you.

This is the DK Custom Products M8 Softail Floorboard Relocation kit I put on my Slim.
This works great for me. I'm 6ft and it makes the ride so much more comfortable .

Reckless Motorcycle Batwing Fairing.
A wonderful Christmas gift from my wonderful wife!
I have never owned a Harley with a large fairing.
I would ride for hours (Sturgis, Laughlin, Hollister, Norcal, Oregon and Idaho) and feel very fatigued.
My friend on his Electra Glide looked very relaxed and rested.
After the Reckless Motorcycle Fairing install and a couple rides, I do not feel tired. I finally get it. Haha!
I installed it myself and it was tricky.
No videos on the Harley installs.
The rubber grommets for the windshield has to be removed and the provided metal spacers are used.
The trick is to use painters tape to contact areas and to remove the two allen bolts holding the light bar. I use some padding to hold it on top of the covered front fender.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for your time,
Lboy06.

From what you are saying looks like you cant simply remove it and install standard windshield correct? I understand upgrade to mounting bolts is needed depending which shield or fairing you want to be on correct?
