it locks you in. No more sliding around. The back support is good too.

How did the windscreen work out for you?

I’ve done two rides and about 250 miles now.
No wind pressure on my body at all.
I’m 6ft 3in and i got some helmet buffeting only around 50-60 mph and only in certain wind conditions. I guess riding either into a head wind or with a cross wind. Speeds over this and up to 80-90 mph there was no buffeting in any wind conditions.
So not a 100% solution but far less fatiguing than taking a long ride with the std factory windscreen.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll be looking into this as my next purchase.

Nice seat!
I don't see one for the Low Rider / Sport Glide though.

Hello,

Source

Your Thunderheader exhaust system does nor look quite like the one shown on the pictures on their website for the late model softails. I only see the X-series available. The one one their website looks like the rear header pipe has a sharper bend than yours. I really like the look of the Thunderheader on your bike but have not purchased one as I am not to keen with the look of the X-serieson their website.
On their website you cant call them to inquire direct but have to go through a dealer. Could you tell me what model did you get for your bike? Thanks.

Well I'm bummed. I really like how those shortys look but once the factory muffler bracket is removed there's no way to mount the passenger peg in the same location. Can't leave the bracket because the pipes aren't long enough to cover it. Finally, since they mount only to the header pipes the entire exhaust is supported only at the connection to the heads.

If they made these things 6 or so inches longer, with tabs to bolt them to the factory bracket, I'd be all in.
