As I hate the hollywood bars, the wind on the highway (though I don't ride on the highway much), and hate the look of the exhaust (though it really won't add much to improve the ride). Thoughts or suggestions about what to do first?

The tail reflector is just stuck on underneath with double sided tape. You can just pull it off, but because the rear fender is such thin sheet metal, I'd try to get some heat on it underneath to soften the adhesive first.

I just removed all the reflectors from my Fatboy last night. Thanks for the inspiration!

Added this titanium mesh screen to protect my oil cooler from stone damage. Fits between the cooler and the frame.

To install the rear wheel with the bike supported on a lift under the frame:

1. Install the the axle part way with the left side spacer in place. Be sure belt adjusters are backed off to allow a slack belt and the brake caliper is off.
2. Raise the tire/wheel on a scissors jack part way onto position. When close to the axle, put the belt on the pulley. Put in the right side outer spacer (between the caliper bracket and swing arm) before you block access to it.
3. Raise rear wheel fully to align with the swingarm and slide in the axle until it is into the right side wheel bearing but not sticking out.
4. Slip in the inner spacer or ABS sensor next to the wheel bearing on the right side while keeping the caliper bracket and outer spacer in place (from step 2).
5. Push the axle through and remove the jack from under the tire.

Easy if you know what you are doing.
My dad used to have a term for "mechanics" like this. He called them "ham-fisted hammer jockeys."

Thing is, they're "professionals" and are SUPPOSED to "know what they're doing."

I know plenty of people have done the licence plate bracket relocation for the Fat Bob's, but I finally just got my Blackmill Performance relocation kit and LED licence plate frame installed. I'm honestly glad I decided to go with the Custom Dynamics Tri-Radius LED plate. After I talked to Custom Dynamics and they informed me that the Fat Bob has a built in OEM Run/Brake/Turn Controller, (and that I wouldn't have to purchase the extra $90 controller to have the LED's function as Run/Brake/Turn) I knew it was a no brainier on my decision to get the Tri-LED frame. I think it turned out looking great.
