Hi everyone, I wanted to show you what I did on my FLSB after the unfortunate solution of using the H-D phone holder (my iPhone had overheated). In practice I was looking for a solution to install my Garmin Zumo GPS in a clean way leaving the handlebar as free as possible. After some research I came across this BikePenR manufacturer in Holland. I tell you right away that it is a premium product but, the yield is impeccable. In my case the GPS is mounted in the center of the handlebar in a safe way and protected by the small windshield. The cables pass through rubber clamps (they were spare parts of my old Ducati) and connected all with the dedicated H-D wiring for accessories. No welding but, 2 very comfortable Posi-Seals that protect the electrical contact from rain and car wash. I'll add some photos of the site to give you an idea of the result.
Do these use AMPS 4 hole mounting pattern and where did you actually purchase it from?
Hi, the kit included all items to install DIY GPS Garmin or TOM TOM. No adapter or similar to buy in other market-place
I found that YES this is AMPS 4 Hole pattern, here is a screenshot with some information. I was curious as the Powervision utilizes AMPS 4 hole as well.
