I had the ME888s on my last bike and really like them. The Cruisetecs are supposed to be a stickier version. I figured I'd give them a try. I put about 300 miles on it this weekend. So far, so good.

I always crack up when people tell me that they're thinking about getting a bike to save money. Just the cost of tires alone kind of blows that one out of the water. LOL!

Ain't that the truth! The cost of tires and the miles you (don't) get out of them.

Sound good don't they. I'm in the UK. We can currently use a tuner without the warranty risk. I say currently, as the direction of travel may mean that gets closed down. Next door in France, they've started adding sound detectors to their speed cameras!

And you did good getting 10,500 miles out of them!!!

My Hayabusa positively eats rear tires, and I'm gentle on it (ok, mostly gentle - no intentional burnouts!). The Harleys are such torque monsters, they''re not always so gentle on rear tires either.

I was asking the parts guys at my Harley dealer for a black shift rod lever and they weren’t able to find one.
Now Harley has one on there site, it came in the mail today and I got it on.

[QUOTE=Superdog3:16;19091592]Thanx! It's an older RoadKing, but the air cleaner cover/setup still relevant to the post, I hope.

New saddlemen seat. Love it, but now I’m further from the bars than I wanted to be (had a reduced reach seat on before). Looking into a Kraus pull back plate... anyone running one?

I took the bike out today, 100 miles Round trip up to my Dads on a bit of a mercy mission but when i got back I fitted my personal bits and new La Rosa swingarm bag. Fitted my guardian bell and my emergency one dollar. As I live in the UK this has no value other than it was all the change I got back the last time I was in the States and at Chicago H-D, LOL. To finish off I have added the Rokform phone holder which I 100% recommend.

Once we get out of lockdown there is a stage 1 waiting with V&H Big Radius pipes.
