Had some bonus points on the credit card I forgot about lol. Just ordered the solo springer seat and hardware kit for the Slim. Tried finding a video going over the install as I've heard the instructions aren't great. Hopefully will be here by the weekend.

I’ve been though the installation. The only real problem is that the various fasteners are only identified by their part numbers and not by their size and length, so it takes some time to figure out exactly what goes where. I also found that the two lengths of 1/4-20 socket head screws didn’t fit the rear spring mounts very well. The 3/4 screws were a bit short and the 1 1/4 screws were too long to fit. I ended up substituting some 7/8 long screws for that purpose.

Well spent last night getting the new seat on. As Uncle G says the instructions leave much to be desired with describing the fastners and which one actually goes where. Amazingly I only mixed up 2 lol. Squared away now, waiting for it to get just a bit warmer in a few hours to go for a ride. I immediately like the look and the sitting position, I'll report back how it is on the ride. I'll need to get proper plugs for the holes in the fender.

love them so far with the mounts I can use any type of case I’ll switch to pelican in the future but these are perfect for now. Mind you this total setup was $110 usd for everything. You can’t beat that.

Looking good. In my case I found the spring seat to be a big improvement in comfort. You would think the springs wouldn’t do much, but they do help smooth out the ride.

Thanks guys. Just picked up a couple little black "hole plugs" for the rear fender at the dealer, also picked up the smoked front turn signal lens/bulbs. Subtle but nice change to the front end. The weather has turned lousy since this morning so figured it would be a good way to distract me for a little bit lol.
