Rode my LRS and it was a warm 38 degrees most of the ride with a high of 41. Was the only bike that showed up to the local H-D shop today...cowards!

Also installed the FP3 but haven’t flashed the bike.

 

I added new pullback risers on my Slim today. Took a quick ride around the block and I’m very pleased with the new handle bar position. The install wasn’t quite plug-n-play as I had to remove the adel clamp holding the front brake line to the underside of the triple tree and had to reroute the clutch cable in order to provide enough cable slack for both cables for the new bar position.

Flipped the plate vertically and installed the the Tackform mount onto the bike at last.

 

HD Fat Mini Ape/Riser kit, chrome controls, cruise module. Massive upgrade in comfort vs stock bars. Also added Motherwell Solo Rack.

 

Did you have to upgrade to longer cables or stock length was ok and just upgrade to braided option?

 

Had to upgrade cables and wiring.

 

Love the chrome switch housings. Really finish up the bars nicely. And that master cylinder. Love that. That’s the pricey bit too. You should check out chrome bolts, I think you’d like the look. I’ve been replacing he bolts on my wife’s deluxe with chrome and it makes a great finishing touch. Your bike looks great man.

 

So here ai have a question. How much taller I can go on risers with stock handlebar to keep my stock cables? On previous models I know up to 4.5” I could pull it off without any new wires does anyone knows on these M8 Heritage?

 

What cables you go with? What bar size is that 1.5 or 1.25?
