Where did you get the tourpak/trunk? Viking?

Ah I see now. Didn't see your text nestled between your photos. Saddlemen. I'd take a look at them on their website, but apparently their site is screwed up. So, you attached the tail bag to a HD tourpak mount and added a backrest I take? The structure of the tail bag is rigid enough for a passenger to lean their weight against I guess?

Cold wet and raining today so I did a little work on the bike. Got rid of the ugly number plate mount and fitted a Kuryakyn curved lay down plate mount. Looks 100% better.

Also fitted a Quad lock mount for my mobile phone. Decided to put it down behind the windshield out of the weather. Should make for an easy run for the cable down to the USB socket under the front of the tank. I'm impressed with how solid this mount is and how securely it attaches the phone while being quick and easy to release.

Then I realised my old gloves wont work with the touch screen DOH! picked up some new ones that have a pad on the fingertip that works with the touch screen. Must have searched through gloves for an hour to find some suitable ones. I have large hands so struggle to find gloves that fit well. This brand/model came in 3XL and fit great and as a bonus the phone finger tip worked about the best of all the ones I tried.

Cheers
Mike

That Ohlins shock should be a improvement over the stock one, I'm sure but if it was me I opted for a more oem look and bought a new side cover from a FXFBS or so and install the adjuster there, but each makes his
own choice
Thanks for the suggestion MoneyFor, it worked out great! Here's the before and after along with a picture of how I modified the bracket to get it positioned correctly.
