Do you feel any tension when moving the bars from one side to the other with the front wheel off the ground? Or a tendency for it to always pull one way?
I dont have a jack to get the front wheel off the ground but it should have some resistance. One of the harley mechanics youtube videos shows how to measure the resistance with what is basically a fish scale on the axle. It should be about 10lbs if i remember right.
The 7 inches of rise im referring to is how much rise these bars have and that at full turn the blinkers are about an inch off the tank. Not really geared to you but general info since i had these questions when I was looking at new bars.

Wow nice look, mind if you ask how did you get the rider footpegs?, I just pulled the trigger on a FB 114 but I am tall rider and would like to change the floorboards to pegs, do you have any part # or how to get them? Thanks!
I just purchased a 2018 Fat Boy S and previously owned a 2015 Breakout. I have the sissy bar and pillion pad from that bike and was wondering if it will fit the new 2018 Fat Boy, since it has the same size rear tire.

First you will find as you get more miles on your bike you will notice getting into neutral will become much easier. I have also found replacing the shifter “peg” with a shifter pedal makes shifting night and day different. It is so much easier to shift with a pedal versus a peg in my opinion.
can you post a pic of your shifter pedal? Never seen one before.
I bought a 2019 fatboy s in October and finally got it out on the road. I was told that it is a stiff steering bike. Previously I owned a 2017 Sportster and the Fatboy actually seemed to handle better in the turns. I love this bike and am impressed with the ride and, obviously the power. Its going to be a great summer.
