well i had to replace my front tire today. and when they took the axle out they broke the sensor for the front brakes abs. they over nighted a new one and i told them i have to go to another dealership to get my rear tire. i asked the service manager which tires costs the most and he jumped and said the rear. i said iam glad you said that and pulled out the receipt for the rear tire waiting to be put on. and he says i dont know how they can sell it so low. but the front was almost 100 bucks more than the rear which i will have put on tomorrow. so i then said i should not have to pay or my insurance pay for the part your tech broke. he said you are right and we will eat it. he worked at one time for the same toyota guy as me so to another harley for the rear and then back to the other one to have the abs sensor put on.

Rayearth is finally home.
It ended up being just a bad BCM and ofc a dead battery. Now he's got a new BCM and an AGM battery.
$875 bill. Oh well, things go wrong. At least my bike is back on the road.
I rode the bus to the dealership and rode him home, lol. So awkward carrying a helmet and the sissy bar with me.
Oh well, 4000miles on the ODO.
Neutral is hard to find consistently but I've been finding it easier to get Neutral if I move my foot under the shifter peg all the way over the ball of my foot, and then lift very slowly.
I hope switching primary fluid will help with finding neutral.
But holy damn twist that throttle hard and the bike just ROCKETS up to 60 like nothing.

Yes, it generates smiles for sure. Glad you got it sorted out. The money's spent now and you can look forward to many miles of enjoyment and getting your value out of the hard earned money. You waited a long, long time Fran and never gave up. Congratulations on sticking to it and where you are now!

So cruise control is pretty nice. Took me a bit to figure out how it worked, but I gave it a try last night.
The eliminator 300s are not as loud as I expected them to be. They're still getting replaced though, I'm not a fan of how they look.
I'm gonna be trying out a set of SharkRoad M8 slip ons which look like a simple knock off of the SE Street Cannons. I got a pair of Thunder Torque inserts in the box waiting to be installed into them as well, along with a set of satin chrome heatshields. Street Cannons are still on backorder.
