Does the Saddlemen Step up moves you up and backwards too?

 

Im 5'8".
I ditched stock bars and risers for the Fatbob bars and risers. There's a bit of pullback and the bars are 1.5" at the clamping area. Can be found on Ebay for under $200. They were absolutely perfect for me .
I had 4" risers and they were awkward and too tall but had no pullback

 

I pulled the dB killers out of my EU-approved (and California) SE Street Cannons. Waaaay better and very easy to do. 4 bolts with a T30 tamper proof torx and pull the plug!

Well ****. They shiny chromed out the fat boy this year, and I like none of the colors.
Not a fan of the shiny and slots they put on the header headshields. I like the Satin more.
So looks like I'll be calling dealerships and browsing cycletrader to find a 2020 or earlier.
If I have to get the bike shipped from a dealer across the states, do you guys know anything about having a bike shipped?

 

I hate chrome and shininess also, will be painting my 2018's wheels, front end and some other shiny bits this year. I had a bike shipped recently, cost about $750. I also flew to GA for my Fatboy and rode the 600 miles home that day- much cheaper and way more fun. So find one within the number of miles you are comfortable riding in a day or 2, and ask the seller to pick you up at the airport.

 

I got like 4 dealers around here who ill call and see if any got any new old stock 2020s and see what price they want for them.
If I cant get them to budge ill find a good deal on cycletrader and have it shipped. Dealership closest to me said they're part of a bigger chain franchise and can get bikes from a wider Area. I'll give em a call tomorrow.
I gotta fly down to mexico and get my teeth fixed in a few weeks and then after that I'm hoping I can pick up a bike.

Really not happy about them removing the satin.

 

What satin bits are you missing the most? I might be willing to trade you some of mine if you get a '21.

 

Basically all of them. Camcover, headers and muffler heatshields, rockerboxes, Fender struts. They chromed out everything except the fork lowers.
The only thing I wouldnt be missing is the Primary cover because I decided I was going to get the black dominion primary cover, sand, primer, and paint it with Metalic Aluminium so it'd sort of match the satin chrome on the rest of the bike.
The 114 medallion they also made black this year. I like the silver one.

 

Hmmm. More than I'm willing to strip from my bike. What I'd really like to have in chrome on mine is the headlight nacelle and cowbells. Muffler and pipe covers too, and possibly the primary cover. If you end up with a '21 let's talk. And good luck in finding the right bike that pleases you, you've certainly had to wait long enough. You have more patience than I do!
