No really into apes but I gotta admit those look good on your bike. Almost makes it look like it's already rolling.

I think apes are the best looking bars for a Fat Boy. I plan on getting some for mine, but a little less aggressive looking. I really like the styling of the miter cut bars, but the Harley Fused Apes are the ones I'm currently planning on buying. Really like the unique beveled top bend. I can't find any others I like more. 1.5" would be nice, but I haven't found any that I like.

Glad this thread was revived. I'll try to participate more, seems like there are so few of us Fat Boy riders.

 

Been a while and things have changed so posting update here--as it stands now - except sold mustang seat as it wasn't all that much better than HD and now have backrest that works well with HD seat -- ugly but works

 

Something is up with the forum software or something. Im subbed to this thread yet it never tells me when you guys post.
I'm hopefully getting my fat boy here before the new model year comes out or slightly after, so I'm kinda interested in this thread, and hopefully ill be posting my bike here shortly.

But the for software has no problem telling me every time someone posts in the lowrider S thread even though I posted there like 3 times.
Tad bit annoying.

 

Your Fat Boy looks cool in that Bonneville Salt Pearl color. Personally I would not try to make it a tourer and uglify it. Fat Boys are meant to be just that, bare naked Fat Boy muscle badassness. I would get a Road King for any short range touring itches

 

Is this FatBoy lower than the SG? A friends 14 FB Lo is very comfortable. I’m 6 ft and feel very comfy on the FB Lo. TIA
