Everything 2018 FatBoy thread

My friends were ahead of me, and took off from a stop sign onto a highway. They gave it some gas. So I turn onto the road and want to catch up and give it a handful and front tire popped up for half a second haha.
First Wheelie on the fat boy ever lol.

Added a Concho (either side) to the seat which I think ties it all together better
If a knew for certain whether one of the old style Heritage seats fitted it would have been simpler albeit I have a much more comfortable seat.
Still deliberating over whether to add some leather fringes/tassels around the bottom edge of the seat.

It was a easy 15min job, only the 2 peg mounts ( 4 bolts ) need to be swapped and the brake pedal ( 1 pin and 1 bolt ) . Everything else can stay on the bike, the brakefluid reservoir
holder is the same. I got the complete kit but you would only need what I described, I think these parts can be bougt seperate.

Yeah I was a bit to quick and ordered a complete set with pegs included with the part n°'s for the FXFBS ( Fat Bob ) because I liked the pegs on that one, so much that I installed them also on my FXBB to.
But I got a 'deal' since the dealer had them on stock so I've got a small discount, paid 695€ in total ( approx $780 ) You also shouldn't forget that here in Belgium everything costs a lot more than in the US.
On the other hand I now also have a complete set of boards that I am putting together with the remaining new parts and will probably sell them so that I can recover a large part of that amount

After much lusting (and lurking in this thread), I finally got my FLFBS. 2018 in Industrial Gray at a local dealer with 220 miles on the clock, and came with a 3 yr warranty - I increased the mileage on the bike by 30% just by riding it home haha! I've been doing some break-in rides in the last few days, and only have 100 miles left before hitting the 500 mile mark. Absolutely love this bike - coming from a Forty-Eight the comfort and power of the Fat Boy is just insane. Can't wait to be done with break-in so I can go above 3500 RPM on the tach haha...
