Started the task of wiring up my Wings Custom 2" King Curve Rhino bars.
Started with a piece of garden string with a weight on the end, in this case, a metal key
Threaded through the bars
Tied one of the string to the connectors
Attached a separate piece of string (the same length) to the connectors
Why? Because I wanted to be able to pull the throttle wiring through first and then the control switch wiring afterwards
which enters through a different hole in the bar
Once the wiring was threaded through one end is fed through the control switch wiring hole
The other end is removed from the connectors
Wiring fed through - control switch end
Wiring fed through - Handlebar end
All wiring fed through
This is where I finished up
Oh, and these are the wiring extension cables that came as part of the kit with the Handlebars.

Does anyone know the max rise height you can go with Bars on a Fat Boy before you need extensions?
I want to swap out handlebars instead of having them replace the OEM bars again, and saw the Frontier Fat Monkey Bars from Fortress motorcycle.
Their lowest height is 6inches. If I swap back to the stock risers, can I run 6inch bars?
I have the Curved Fat risers, which are 4inch rise, and the stock bars are 4.5inch rise correct?
These are the bars I'm looking at

Is that No I don't have to run 2 wires through the bars as the indicators go/splice into the control switch
(I don't need 3 core as I don't have running lights)
Bearing in mind I'm starting from scratch and Not using the bars, controls and wiring I have on the other bars.
Going brand new everything and doing a "swop-over".

Ok didn’t know why you mentioned running lights then; my bad
you need to feed the indicator cables down as well as the controller, if you are mounting them on the handlebars like stock (I presume you have the original bars to look at)
if you are mounting them on the forks or something then you cable them directly to the connectors under the tank
the connectors under the tank are wired for indicators and running lights so you could install either 2 wire for indicator only, or 3 wire for indicator and running, was what I was on about.
this is canbus so you can’t just splice into the control cables to get indicators
