I have been thinking about something like this lately - thanks! I assume it bolts on easily?

Looks like the horn trigger just barely touches the horn button.

Yeap. I installed one over a year ago, it's pretty great.
The only thing is that you will probably press it accidently a few times and get funny looks in traffic. haha.

The second tire, another Scorcher wore the same.

I don't understand how the rear is totally normal wear, I'm still on my second tire. I've had over 20 bikes in my 55 years of riding, and never had a rear last longer than a front. Which is leading me to believe that maybe the tire compound on the one side is much softer than the other. I put a Metz Cruisetec on it this time to see if that theory works out.

I only ride this bike winters in Florida.

Just FWIW… I had this exact issue when I owned my ‘18 FB, and posted about it on this forum. I haven’t kept up with the Fatboy threads on here since I traded mine, so I don’t know if this is still being discussed or if anyone has found a tire that wears better ( or if there are even any new alternatives to the Scorcher’s because at the time the selections were very limited). But I was only averaging about 7-8 k miles on both front and rear…the rear would wear right down the middle and the front would wear on one side like in this picture. And I did (still do) a lot of straight-line interstate and four lane highway travel because of my commute to work and the longer trips that I’ve taken. The wear on the rear tire makes sense to me, right down the middle. The wear on the front-not so much. I’ve thought about the crown in the road theory, too, but wouldn’t the back wear like the front if that was the case ? I’m very curious to know whether those that are using tires other than the Scorchers have had the same issue, because I do think it’s a manufacturing defect or issue. BTW, my Street Glide doesn’t do this, and my riding habits haven’t changed, except that I’m doing more distance rides, and I got about 15k out of my stock Dunlop front tire (would’ve gotten around 10-12k on the rear had I not picked up a screw along the way), and those stock Dunlops are hard as hell…
Just my .02 …

een more difficult and the price was still the same long or short version.

I also found a real specialist to make my custom seat, I wanted one that covered the space on the fueltank instead of using that "special" coverplate TB is selling and it will look a bit like the stock seat on the tank. Pricewice... it is not cheap but it will
be completely custom made since I made the drawing and choose the materials so it will match my custom swingarmbag I allready got. It will be ready wen the fender will arrive, I post pictures then.

Yes bolts on very easily.
You'll need a T27 for the screws.
The important thing is to ensure that you have the clutch lever and assembly secured - as can be seen I used a bungee strap - so that it doesn't fall and swing across and damage anything.

Yeah, there's meant to be a slight gap.
However, it does come with inserts which you can fit if you find that it's too far away.
All very well thought out imo.
