I had the bike serviced at an H-D Dealership last Tuesday
...at the same occasion I had them fit the Fueling "shorty" Sump Plug and the Gloss black outer primary cover.
As it tipped down and the bike got filthy, went out this afternoon and gave it a good wash.

So, people with a 260 rear tire on their Fat Boy, do you like it?
I'm thinking of going with a Metzler setup with a Tourance NEXT 2 in front, and Cruisetec 260 in the rear.
Is a 260 worth it? how does it handle at high speed? Does it wear faster than the 240?

Yes ! ... way better handling

Does it wear faster than the 240?
Negligible, the tire is slightly more convex on stock rim so a little more wear in the middle

Nearly finished my Touring setup (just the wiring to finish off).
Basically wanted to be able to unbolt the current setup and then bolt on the touring setup - i.e. remove seat, undo the 2 lighting plugs (gray & black) and the 4 bolts holding the fender rails and swap over to this touring setup with my Hammock seat.

I went with number 3 - gives you a lot cleaner look at the rear

Number 3 was my first choise to, but was considering n°2 as I already have n°3 on my Breakout .... but I just ordered number 3 anyway and the cheapest saddle I could buy since I'm going to have it upholstered by a local shop.
I was considdering just to buy a seatpan and foam but that costs $370, the cheapest saddle was $448 so I took that last one and made it easier for the upholstery guy. I found a local shop at 10minutes from my house and he sent
me pictures of his work and I like it. I had seen one at TB to my liking, but they only let you choose from the 3 in their webshop, so no longer like before, when you could choose from a design that they had on their custom bikes. I
did that on my Breakout.

My Breakout ..

The saddle that I really liked on a TB custom bike, I think I'm going to have it copied in a local shop...
