I currently have a 2013 Heritage softail and over the weekend I test drove a 2018 Fat Boy with a stage 1 kit. I took it for a spin even though I was looking for a bagger. From light to light I had the biggest grin you will ever see as that bike was on a mission. I didn’t get to take it into any truly tight curves but from the limited turning I did I felt like the bike just wanted to stay upright. I get that those big a-s tires are the reason for it but my question is this. Has this been a true issue for any of you? Can you get use to it or do you need to truly take turns and twisties differently on this bike? Lastly how does the bike feel on a long ride is it comfortable and easy or does it make you work?
