Did a few things over the weekend...
Swapped out the Satin Chrome Console unit for a Chrome one
Assembled the rear number plate, taillight and fender.
Mocked up on the Bike.
Still have the number plate light wiring to do.
Hi, I see that you also have black fenderstruts on your bike, I also put black on mine this weekend. That is to say I had bought a complete rear for very little money fender, fender struts, 3 in1 indicators (which I don't use because
I still had black Kodlin's from my FXFBS ) and powder coated these struts gloss black . So I now have a complete rear end with chroom struts and chroom Kodlins as well as black ones. However, I can't get used to the view yet,
do you have a picture of your entire bike with the black fender struts?

I painted the wheels myself last year.
Looks great and we definitely seem to have the same/similar style.
Very nice job on the wheels.
I do like the Intake and Exhaust on your Bike - what are they?
I'm going down the V&H route (black PCX shortshots & V02 X Air Intake Black Contrast)
Yeah, I did the same and bought a complete rear end minus the 3 in1 indicators for a very good price.
I also managed to pick up a Rick's Motorcycles short front fender and another Tank.
The idea behind it being that (once the wheels are done) I can keep the bike on the road and just swap over in a day for a different look.
I don't have any "real" pictures with of the entire bike with the black fender struts
However, I did do a mock up in MS Paint.
Check out @FranBunnyFFXII post in this thread. She is running Bridgestones.
Personally I just got a set of Metzler Cruisetecs as I decided to go with the 260 rear tire. Going to get them installed on my wheels after they come back from getting the inserts on the wheels powder coated black…in the next month or so.
Yeah I have Bridgestone Tires on my bike. @FLFBSManiac
The tires you can get from Bridgestone are
Front: Battlax Adventure A41 150/70 ZR18 70W Mounted in Reverse(it is very very important that you mount this tire in reverse of it's arrow direction on the front)
Rear: Battlecruise H50 240/40 R18 79V
For the front, This is a rear tire mounted in reverse, do not mount it with the arrows pointing down when viewed from the front, they need to be facing up. This allows the tire splice to act how it would if it were accelerating when you brake. It also allows the water evacuation to work as designed. This front tire is excellent at water evacuation.
So it is Vital that you make sure that this tire is mounted in reverse of it's rotation indication when on the front wheel.
Also there is a R18G version of this tire. It is the OEM version for the Africa Twin, do not buy it. Make sure you get the RZ18 70W version.
They are a very nice set of tires, very grippy and great handling. Much better handling than stock. I have 4000 miles on the tires already and they don't show anywhere near being done wear wise. I don't see any difference in wear between the sides on the front either like some people do.
I don't see any flat spots or cupping on the rear, but then again I do ride twisties a lot.
I'll probably be buying another set when it comes to new tires. Debating about buying another set of these or going with a Meltzer Cruisetec rear and Tourance NEXT front(150/70 R18). Probably will stick with these.
Big note: I have 13oz Ride-On Balancer in the front tire for perfect balance. Tire was mounted and balanced, then had Ride-On installed. Ride-On IMO is a necessary component for the M8 Fat Boy's front tire.
