So I figured out what it was that damaged my front Fender, because today I went out for my first ride after the surgery, because I just couldn't take sitting at home anymore.
I took a look at the fender after I took off the covers, and, the split had shown back up and the paint cracked off of it. But this time I know exactly what happened.
The heavy Budge cover that I got to protect the bike from intense rain and the elements, turns out because it was heavy and fit over the bike fairly snug, it was weighing down on the front fender, This was exacerbated by the wind blowing really hard. It pushed down on the front of the fender, which split the bent over under part of the fender.
So the cover I got to protect the bike ended up damaging the bike instead.
Great.
The repair is damaged now, and the Sugru only stabilized the fender being pushed up, it flexes too much to protect it from being pushed down.
I put some clear anti scuffing tape over the area for now, just to protect the damaged area for a while so I can think of how to handle this next.

2019 FLFBS Rear Stop/Tail/Indicator Wiring

Hey all,
I'm hoping that someone has already had a "play around" or swapped about with the rear Stop/Tail/Indicator lighting.
I've found the following picture in the Service Manual but I'm struggling to find out which colour wire does what!

I'm guessing that:
BK = Black = Ground;
R = Red = Brake Light;
but I'm stumped with the W = White and GN = Green.
They must be for Turn Signals and Tail Light but I have no idea which way round
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA

Default Late model FatBoy tires

Hey gang, are there any new tire options for ‘18 and later FatBoys? Scorchers just seem expensive for 8000 miles. I know Metzeler makes a pair and I’m coming up goose eggs on other brands… but then again I’m old and not too internet savy. I too just retired a few years earlier than planned and all of a sudden I’m cost conscious 🥴…
’20 FatBoy River Rock Gray (love the bike, hate the color) 4” handlebar risers and a HD Tallboy seat… (still cramped)
thanks

Check out @FranBunnyFFXII post in this thread. She is running Bridgestones.

Personally I just got a set of Metzler Cruisetecs as I decided to go with the 260 rear tire. Going to get them installed on my wheels after they come back from getting the inserts on the wheels powder coated black…in the next month or so.
