I continued to hunt around and then came across Easy Brackets - this looks like they will be perfect.
Lockable and all that is left on the fender rail are the docking posts.
This also allows you to use pretty much any saddlebag.

So, a few bits turned up today
Mini-saddlebags and matching tool roll (pics to follow at the weekend) and the rear fender tail tidy - Tail Tidy Fender License Plate Holder - Thanks to Cootey for pointing this one out in an earlier post and a PM conversation.
It's going to be absolutely prefect and is a bolt on fitment (Fat Boy specific mounting).
Offered it up to the rear Fender and all holes line up.
So, the Mini-saddlebags and matching tool roll turned up the other day.
A couple things that I was waiting for were, the Easy Brackets and a couple of clamps, which turned up today.
I wanted to get "creative" with regards to the mounting of the tool (as they are designed for fitting to the front forks) and I didn't want the tool roll rubbing on the top of the headlight surround.
...that's where the clamps come in - a chrome set of clamps designed for spotlights but suitable for mounting on the handlebars.
Attached the clamps to the handlebars
Offered up the tool roll
Removed the attachment straps and then made sure that the clamps were correctly positioned in line with the straps on the back of the tool roll
Worked out that I need a 5 mm drill bit
Drilled 2 holes in the tool roll and pushed through some bolts
Then attached the tool roll, using the bolts, washers and nuts, to the clamps
Tightened everything up and very pleased with the result
I won't be putting anything heavy in the tool roll but a very handy storage compartment.
Thanks for the feedback! I understand where you are coming from. A longer strobe period can help though when a driver behind you isn't paying attention when you first activate it. The flash patterns are permanently coded into the module, and so it can't be altered after manufacture, but I'll definitely pass your feedback along regarding a shorter strobe pattern. I think pattern 4, with the quad strobe, then a second quad strobe, then steady would be the closest thing to what you are looking for, followed by pattern 8.
I'm glad you are also pleased with the Bullet Ringz! They're definitely one of our coolest looking products.
@Customdyanamics After doing some messing around with the Magic Strobes module I think Pattern 4 is the most ideal pattern I could have.
Pattern 4: Quad Strobe then Solid for 1 Second then Quad Strobe.
After it does the pattern, it stays solid as long as you're holding the brake lever.
So its ABOUT as close as I can get to ideal.
So I'll be sticking to this system, and am mostly happy with the rear lighting setup that I was able to build out of your products.
A question for the more knowledgeable than I on lighting...
I want to keep the OEM rear indicators (run/brake/indicators) but want to add an additional rear LED run/brake light.
I also want to run an LED license plate light.
The question is...
Can I splice into my OEM wiring, or do I need something like a Custom Dynamics Custom Rear Wiring Adapter Kit?
(albeit, the latter states it only works if the OEM rear lighting is removed).

You can splice into the OEM wiring, no need for an adapter kit.
