Default 2018 Heritage Solo Spring Seat

I just got Olive and Betty to get along when Olive turned around and stole Betty's spring seat. Olive is riding high and Betty is pissed!. I'm still testing height vs Spacer vs spring length combinations.

A big thanks to Benultra on here for his post and tips.

Initial impressions are that it definitely is healthier on my back, if you maintain good riding posture thoes springs deal with just about any and all sudden rough pothole type situation. Around here that is just about every single mile of asphatl within a 20 mile radius. After 20 miles the roads improve...to crappy. 👍

I will dial it in a bit more but it has made me appreciate what a good seat the sundowner actually is. So far, if this makes sense, Solo Spring seat is safer if you frequent crap roads and still quite comfy, your lower vertebrae are not compromised repeatedly, but if i was back in the states, on good highways alot, the sundowner is more comfortable wrapping itself around you more

Will keep you posted on this as I ride more on the weekend.

i would like to know if this part Harley-Davidson Spring Saddle installation Kit 52100029 fits my 2018 Softail Deluxe because i would like to have a spring seat on my motorcycle.
i see it on Softail Heritage 2018 and Fat Bob 2018 but not sure if it fits the Deluxe 2018 because Harley says that fits only street bob and softail slim !

Is that the 52100029 springer mount? Curious before I order one. Thanks for any input you have.

Default 52100029

It’s an older thread, but I’m hoping someone will respond.

does the 52100029 kit fit the 2018/2019 Herirage Classic if I move the preload adjuster out of the way?

I can't say for certain. I used the new solo seat mount for the '18 and up Softails, but I had to do a bit of fabrication and modification to fit the 52006-47B solo seat. I really like the sprung solo seat. It was just what the bike needed for long distance comfort.

I describe what I did in detail in post 5 and 6 of this thread:
