My son has bought his first Bike a 650cc Bobber LoL His next bike will be a Harley
Yeah, don't let him ride your Low Rider after that Suzuki. Basically half an Intruder engine on that one. Interesting to see the styling cues between the two bikes though.
Well, here is my latest and favorite addition... my big radius pipes! So sexy!
So far how are you liking the performance and sound of the V/H big radius pipes. I am looking to buy them for my sport glide and looking for owner’s feedback. Are you using the Harley tuner?
Long time since the OP John Kyle has been on here, I hope he is well if your out there John pop in and say hi
Last post of his is a for sale. Checking out his bike on this thread got me thinking about the one I bought. Oldy enough his last post is exactly when I bought my bike. He did a lot of stuff to that bike, was probably a finished project. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/motor...l#post17817544

Looking to install 8 inch risers and thrashin supply high bend bars(roughly 13 inch rise all together).its my first time doing bars. I know I'll have to extend the clutch/brake cables by about 6 inches.Going 13 high do I have to extend the canbus wiring? Looks like theres enough slack in the hand controls. Anyone install a similar height with experience.
Does anyone use those hand deflectors to block the wind in cold weather? If so, which ones do you have on your Low Rider?
I have the Memphis Shades hand guards on my Low Rider, they look and work great. JD Customs has a set in stainless steel, but I was not sure on the fitment since I am keeping the blinkers on the bars. While I was looking into things my wife got me the MS guards so that is what I went with.

You will need to extend the wiring as well. I started with 8" risers and 2.5" bars and everything was tight, bumping up to 3.5" bars and everything needed extending except the clutch but it is at it's limit now. For 8" risers and the highbend bar wires will need extending, I did the 6" extensions from Guerrilla Cable and have plenty of slack now to fit and more good.
