I really dig the color. Had a hard time finding it in my area a month ago and now glad i found it. Guess i got caught between production runs or something as ive noticed the midnight blue showing up again sporadically.
The bars and risers are actually the stock ones off of my 15 dyna fat bob. Sort of a stopgap as i am ordering lucky daves soon but the stock low rider bars were ust horrible for me. Swapped them out as soon as i got home from the dealer. Surprisingly, the stock fat bob bars fit up real nice with no other changes and function pretty well.

The bars take it in a better direction. I see the new Low Rider as more FXR than nostalgic with those buckhorn/beach bars.
Absolutely. I saw the LR as a great jumping spot for an modern and upgraded-fxr as opposed to nostalgic throwback. As much as it seems harley was shooting for the 70s throwback styling, the new LR is such a great platform for an FXR build and prob the best value in the line up. Mosy of the chrome on mine is going to the powder coater next week. Kind of hope the LR stays somewhat a secret. My buddy bought a black one and went pretty much full fxr style but the dark blue is better (just in case he reads this post). 2018
