No marks like that on my 2019. Almost looks like they had a bag mounted and had straps wrapped around the tins.

I have an older (2013) "blacked out" TwinCam Slim and yes, the cable would rub
on the tinwork leaving a scuff.... What I did was to attach a black teflon "slider"
that I found at Home Depo to take the abuse. Here is a picture (also shown
is the 'dawg dish' wind baffle from the touring bikes).

I stopped by a local dealer and looked at their 2 new blacked out bikes and both of them had some degree of scuffing on the RH fork tube

Went for a short ride yesterday and noticed that my right floorboard looked wet. Then I discovered that it was slippery. I had oil spewing on my floorboard and brake pedal. Got it home and found I had a fair amount of oil all over the right side of the bike. I smelled it and it smelled more like gear oil. Finaly settled on it being fork oil coming from my right fork. Hard to see with all the stuff over the forks. I've heard of seals leaking but this seems rather catastrophic for that much oil to be dumping out of it. Planning to remove the forks and take them to a shop to be rebuilt. I've done it before but on a Goldwing. Not sure I want to tackle the job again. Of course, I realized I don't have the right size hex bit to remove the front axle - 19mm. And you can't just walk in a store and buy one other than a $45 set from Harbor Freight. Sheesh.

Ironic. My Hydra Glide just blew the left fork seal on a ride last Wednesday. Probably happened when I strayed off on a secondary "paved" road out in the desert. Fortunately, still under Warranty, so dealer took care of it, back in the garage.

On a side note, "Fall" has arrived here in the AZ desert; temp hit 117* yesterday, unbelievable; we have set new temp records for 5 days in a row, and more to come. Now at 64 days of 110* or higher temps in 2024 for Phoenix, annihilating the old record. Tough riding weather.
