The Everything 2018+ Heritage Thread

I received and installed my new LeatherPro Saddlebags on my Cherry. I think they look good.
Dressed for a parade!
Yep, there is one on each side.
No lock hasp in the way. Seems to be a little more storage, especialy because of the bump towards the rear adds more usable space.
The install was easy after figuring out the instructions...needs to be a little clearer.
Two bolts replace the Heritage mounting bolts.
No longer need to unbolt the bags to remove.
Easy on /off clamp that locks on and secured with an interior keyed lock.
The cargo straps have hidden easy connect heavy duty plastic clips but the cargo straps could be used by them selves to hold the lid closed with an overstuffed saddlebag.
The lock is very secure using a long curved latching mecanism that hooks into the hasp.
The leather is very HEAVY DUTY and workmanship seems supperb.

I see you used the tractor seat from a Crossbones and the 2018 + softail mounting plate. I had the same plan. What did you due to mount the seat? It looks like you may be using the bracket that would have mounted to the seat on the crossbones to mount this. Any details about parts and pieces is appreciated here. I have always been a tractor seat guy--best look and ride.

This modification must be pretty popular. I've lost track of how many times I've described it. It goes to show that "retro" isn't dead, despite what Harley-Davidson might think.

THANKS!
QUOTE=Uncle G.;19960902]No, I used the Panhead saddle (part number 52006-47B) and the Softail mounting kit. I had to fabricate an adaptor plate to accommodate the different spring spacing on the saddle versus the spring seat mounting kit. I describe it all in this thread, starting at post #5.

Hello Hedonism,
I was going back and forth with mid controls.
When travelling on long rides, the floorboards win out by providing multiple foot positions.
I purchased the DK Customs Rider Floorboard Extension Kit that moved them out by 1 inch.
I was able to keep my boots/footgear from melting/scuffing the exhaust and primary.
The DK Customs shifter peg spacer kept the shifter gear linkage from twisting a bit(please note the Kuryakyn has their own extension kit, but does not have a shifter peg spacer).
The extension had my right foot turn inward for the brake lever.
I resolved it with the Kuryakyn Kinetic Brake Pedal Pad.
It is wider than the stock pad and easier to depress. No more twisting.
I think DK Customs should offer a brake pad extension with their kits.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for your time,
Lboy06.
