Hi everyone, I just purchased a set of Straight jacket handlebar from KST kustoms and when I tried to fit the handlebars on the stock risers, the clamping area was a bit narrow. Anyone else run into this issue? If so, what was your workaround? New risers? filed down the edges of the clamp area? Any insight is appreciated.

I don't have a pic but I can tell you it doesn't slope like the sundowner. I originally had the sundowner and that slope is the reason I got rid of it. Another option would be the pillion of of an older heritage.

The Grasshopper back rest is nice and very easy to install. Unfortunately, I had put a Reach Seat on to lower me and move me forward and the back portion of the Reach seat is much thicker (front to back) than the stock seat, making the backrest unusable. I could have saved you a few $$$.
Would still like to have a backrest, but I guessing it will have to be some kind of custom made unit. Tempted to have a bent plate made to weld onto the Grasshopper to make it extend further forward.

Hello, I am a shorter rider and I had an issue with shifting.
I took a stock shifter to a machine shop and they shortened the shifter and tapped a new peg hole.
I then purchased a longer shifter for the rear.
The shifter pegs are from Thrashin' Supply Company.
I hope this helps a fellow rider with short legs.
Thank you,
Lboy06
Short front shift lever and longer rear shift lever.
Rider's view.
Stock length vs. machined length.
Machined by hand and you could not see the cut area.
