I know I’m late to this particular party, but my grasshopper was pretty-much useless. Too flimsy to be of any benefit

(I’m coming back to a Heritage and re-reading this whole thread!)

Cant help with the backrest but that is a fine looking Heritage! From the mods I can see, you may be headed for a stage II??

I had the same issue with my grasshopper and when I called them they told me that they changed steel suppliers with a stronger, stiffer gauge steel because of complaints. They sent me a new one and I haven’t had a problem.

It looks even more like a vintage police bike with the deluxe solo seat and blue half tint windshield.

I am 6’3” & I have the tall boy seat and a set of mini apes from Carlini they are 12” evil apes I have never been more comfortable now I could use a higher windshield

Have any of you guys tried the Cycle Visions Bare Back quick detach bolts for your bags? I didn't know they made a quick-detach system for the newer Heritage until I found these. Just wondering if they're any good?
