I don’t know. I sold the bike, but I’m sure it was a late 17. I’m considering a 2020 Sport Glide or Heritage. I know there have been numerous oil pump revisions including the latest 8 lobe version in late 19 and 20 models. I really want to believe the problem is resolved, but once bitten, twice....
I personally would not buy another M8 prior to 2020, but that’s just my biased opinion.

As long as the bike is under warranty the MoCo will take care of the issue should it arise. Many move to a stage 2+ at he end of the warranty period and that would be the time to change to the latest pump for very little extra $$$. The dealer I purchased my '19 Heritage from includes a life time drive train warranty with every new bike they sell.
