Hulkss I would love to see a pic of them on your bike. Thinking of doing the same thing. I don't like spoke wheels that much either.

Delivery of the new Heritage wheels is scheduled for tomorrow. I'll set one next to the bike and take a pic. It will be awhile before I put them on. I will run the old wheels/tires 'till I park the bike for winter modding season.

I read/heard some people complaining about bags opening while riding and/or leaking. Are these one off issues or very common problems? I am going back and forth between 2020 Heritage & RoadKing, I definitely like the Heritage better but not 100% sure because of the bag issues.

Never had a bag issue with mine at 13,000 miles with a lot of Go-Fast.

I had some problems with bags coming open on my 2018 FLHCS back in the Spring of 2019 when in Florida. To prevent this I have to make sure nothing inside interferes with the closure mechanism or the "woven" limiter. Alignment is key. Other than that, I have had no problems in over 5000 additional miles (9000+ now total). It's really no big deal.

If you close them correctly (push from above, not from the side) and double check that they're latched before you ride off, there's nothing to worry about. Locking them is an added safety feature.
