When I inquired about adding true duals to a possible purchase of a 2018 114 Heritage, the salesperson stated that as long as I use the HD fuel management system, the warranty would not be affected. But they also stated to keep the stock exhaust just in case they would have to be reinstalled if their is a warranty issue.

Can we please vere this thread away from the "W" word. There is enough on the site about it already.

No disrespect to Another Old Timer or the Velvet Sledgehammer. Also do not let either of them check the others oil

Considering that there is only one slip on that is "legal" - the Street Cannon, has anyone here installed them on their 18 Heritage?
1. Did you also get the HD Tuner?
2. If so, is there a specific canned map?
3. How do they sound?

Default Rineharts, not Street Cannons

Just did a Stage I SE Air breather install on my 107 and tuned with the H-D tuner allowing the tuner to do its thing for the Basic Stage 1. Significant difference in Idle RPM's and throttle responce. Now it does not sound like it is about to stall when sitting at a light.

Can't speak to the Street Cannons because after the tune, I added Rinehart Slip-on's. Nothing noticable changed after adding the Rineharts except the sound. Nice deep throaty sound without being tooooooo loud (for my taste).

I'm an easy cruising type, so I'm not looking for more and more power. Just wanted to have a good performing ride with ample sound to be heard by the cars around me.

I know this did not answer your questiond directly, but hope it may have bee of some help.

I installed them on my Heritage w/114 M8. I also purchased the SE tuner and uploaded the base map for a 114 Stage I upgrade. The base map is available with the Tuner software. I think they sound fabulous. The are not loud though. They are very deep, lots of bass.

I won’t say the Heritage 114 is the best bike I’ve owned. Out of 20 plus bikes, the one recalled the most is an RC-51. So that was the best bike I ever owned.

But I’m older now. Things need to be a bit more comfortable. I don’t think I could ride that Honda twin all day long anymore.

Still a bike has to handle and go and be exciting to ride. That describes the Heritage.

I have them with my Stage 2. It’s set up with the SE tuner and factory map. They sound ok. I’d like to try some other pipes, but the Canons perform well and give a mellow rumble. Personally I could try a little more sound just for fun. Otherwise they work well.

Did not find anything I would want to put on to my Cherry.

I have been following the thread; Re: 2018 Softail saddlebag options - https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...g-options.html

It appears Leatherpros will have a more triditional looking saddlebag available for the '18 Heritage within a few weeks similar to their LP4000 series.

When they are available I will probably place my order.

Bike week is great for all the biker visitors, but for us local's the traffic is a PITA.
