Had bad buffeting with stock shield so installed the 16" from Long Ride Shield. Seems to be similar thickness as stock (people say the Freedom is thicker than stock) but LRS is like half the price of Freedom. Will not be able to go on a fast ride til next week so will post results. I am 5'6" and can see over the 16" (note that stock is 15").

Update - had a ride on the expressway from Subic to Clark averaging around 80 mph with some runs up to 100mph to catch up to the group. Still some buffeting but much better than before. Can live with it as I realize my hold HJC IS helmet really sits high and just hits the windstream. With a lower profile helmet, should be a bit better.

Harley makes them now for the 2018+ softails. You can also buy mini-floorboards from Kuryakyn. Make sure you order the correct spline adapter that fits the wider H-D peg mount.

Here's mine 1. short H-D passenger backrest 2. Rifle 22" clear shield that's +3" wider than stock 3. H-D "fangs" that were on my old FLSTC 4. Rush Racing 3" slip-ons w/2 1/4" baffles. 5. Custom Dymanics LED tag frame/lay down plate mount and RTB turn signals. 6. Kuryakyn LED laydown tail light 7. H-D black mustache engine guard
On the wish list V&H FP3 Bluetooth and S&S air cleaner. Only 700 miles so far .
All I can say, even with "only" the 107, the motor is very strong and smooth. First rate ride and handling . Harley, once you get over the "new age" style, you hit this one out of the park !
By the way, great lookin' bikes everyone. Ride On ! Bob
Great looking bike, I'm up near Loudoun County area but ride down your way often.
How are those LEDs working out for you so far? I just pickup up a 18' FLHCS with the 114" in it, miss my FatBob but this bike is legit, love it. Mulling over exhaust options and intake, I guess everyone plays it safe under warranty with slipons?

theres just not many options out there yet for the 114". i asked the dealer before i ordered my Bassani's. they said unless the problem you have is directly caused by the exhaust then your ok. my dealer said if the exhaust did cause it then they would let me know so i could put the stock back on and they could fix it under warranty
