I haven't received anything from MOCO. I received a notice on the last recall.... almost two months after the recall work had been completed.

 

I just received my Recall Notice today. I called the Dealer, and was advised they are "backed up and busy" for the next two weeks........ Seriously?? WTF??.... I guess I'll ride until it goes in for winter storage, and have the recall done then......

 

Got Mine done Yesterday 30 min. Feels the same as before i took it in

 

Recall done. No recall letter yet.

 

Anyone else considering trading in your Rushmore for a 2013 due to all these recalls? This will be the third time on the clutch system.
I've just about had it...

 

I've only had two clutch recalls on my Ultra Limited. And no, not trading my Rushmore in for a 2013 anything. I was willing to accept the issues with a first year bike and yes, mine had several coolant issues, not to mention two clutch recalls, an ABS brake line recall, and the filler neck product program. Even with all of that, it's still the best Harley I have ever owned. BTW, thanks for your service 14imp.

 

No way I would trade for 13...........

 

There have been 2 clutch recalls. First was October 2013 and second was this month. Other then my thermostat leaking back in November I haven't had any issues with my 14 Limited. The MoCo had done a good job of identifying issues and getting then fix before most people have an issue. No way I would go back to the 12 Limited I traded for the 14.

 

Got my recall notice today, had the recall work done last week. My bike has had one other recall, the brake line one. So far no issue with cooling system.
Not only would I not consider getting rid of this bike, If I knew at the time of purchase what I know now, I'd still buy the bike in a heartbeat.

 

Not a chance. My 14 Limited HAD the coolant leak issue, the brake line recall and clutch recalls, all were repaired very quickly without issue.I have owned 8 new touring Harley's, my Rushmore Limited is by far the best. If you do decide to trade down your dealer will be thrilled. They have a large inventory of pre-rushmore inventory.
