My dealer did not know about the recall when I called to schedule appointment last week. Took my bike in Tuesday and had the service completed while I waited. The extra bonus was the nice cleanup my dealer performed. I could not tell any difference in the clutch once the service was completed.

The situation down in Australia is that dealers will be able to place orders with HD for parts after supplying VIN numbers commencing on the 23rd.


I'm leaving on a 3/4 round Australia ride on the 27th, so I'm going to leave booking my Limited in until it's 10,000 mile service. I certainly hope it holds together.

Dropped by the dealer to schedule the work. They asked if I had the bike with me. Then took it right back. Done!

Went in this AM and was finished in 30 minutes or so. Great work Andy's HD!!

I got mine done this morning. The clutch does feel more firm, and neutral is a little easier to find. The peace of mind from having it done before the weekend was worth the hour out of my day.

St. Paul HD completed mine in about 55 minutes which was awesome, they didn't courtesy wash my bike though which is lame. Took her for a 40 mile ride around local small towns to utilize the clutch harder and no issue, silky smooth.

I'm glad most are being taken care of by their dealer. Wish I could say the same about mine. I'm pissed at the way my dealter is handling. Other dealers in my area have parts but all I'm getting from my dealer is that parts will be in later this week. I called total BULSH on this.

Any reason why you wouldn't take it to one of the other dealers?

Mine was done today, actually they did both the clutch recall and brake line recall, 45 min later I am on the road, and BTW they didn't have to bleed the system, they actually did it the way I suggested earlier in the thread.
Anyway its done, works great.

My dealer is telling me the same thing and.... the surrounding dealers have the parts. I have an appointment with my dealer for Friday at 4pm in hopes that they will have the parts. If they don't have the parts by then, I will ask another dealer to help me. I'm trying to think positively.
