Very glad I check the forums, this is the first I'm hearing about this recall!

Out of curiosity, was anyone notified by their dealer or HD Corp? Would think that I would have received notice rather quickly for a safety recall, but may be that is not typical.

My dealer was notifying owners by phone today when I was there. They had kits on hand and I will probably get mine done Thursday.

 

Has anyone who bought their bike from the Conyers GA dealership get their recall done yet?

 

It takes a few weeks for that to updated.

 

Parts are arriving. Went on the dealer list a week ago. They called me Fri letting me know the kit was in. Got the recall done yesterday while I waited. Easy.

 

Torrential rain this morning. I wasn't going to get soaked before work to get a recall done. Maybe later in the week.

 

Called my local dealer St. Paul HD and got it scheduled for first thing tomorrow, they state takes a little over an hour.

Called my dealer today and rode it to them today, fixed it took about 25 minutes and done... Big shout out to Athens Harley Davidson have the best service around.

 

Got mine done yesterday, a little over a hour. Was happy with how I was treated at Thoroughbred H-D Florence, KY. Never had a bike worked on there before.

 

My dealer still does not have parts to do recall yet.
