Looking to do Stage 1, would like some opinions/advice
I've got a 14 SG that is pretty much stock with the exception of 4" RCX slip-ons.
I want to do stage 1, but I can't really decide what headers that I want.. And let me add, while I will GLADLY accept the power increases from stage 1, all out power is not what I am necessarily going for. More for running smoother, and cooler temps.
Will be using the PV-2.
Anyway, on to my question.
What is the big difference between true duals(V&H dresser duals) and the 2-1-2(V&H Power duals)? I know what the difference physically is between the 2, but is the sound different with each? I believe I read that the power duals will make a little more power than the dresser duals? I like the looks of both so that isn't the issue. Basically just looking for some opinions on the matter and/or why you choose what you did.
Do the power duals create more of a raspy sound at all compared to the dresser duals?
Not looking to start any battles, just newer to the harley scene and looking for some advice.
Thanks!!

I prefer true duals, and I really prefer RUSH racing, theirs are ceramic coated inside and out, which makes then shed less heat, and therefore feel cooler.
I personally do not hit the track, so the minimal gains I could get with a 2/1 or 2/1/2 are not missed.
I think a TRUE dual, 2 pipes, no crossover, sounds the best.
But my ears are different from yours...
I think your choice of the PV2 is excellent. A fan of flash tuners here...

RUSH also makes a 2/1 and a 2/1/2, and are sponsors here, with maybe the best customer service I have ever experienced.
I know guys who LOVE their FuelMoto stuff, and can also personally vouch for their customer service, I bought my PV2 from them.
They are also sponsors here.
The sponsor thing does make a difference to me, on a quality product... I come here and argue for free... someone has to pay the bills.
