Called my Dealer and they were not aware but checked and confirmed there is a clutch issue recall but don't have the details as to the fix MOCO is allowing so could not set appt. date until they know what MOCO says the fix is.

But, I can't take delivery. Evidently, HD issued a recall yesterday on the clutch master cylinder and they are preventing everyone from taking delivery. Has anyone heard anything about this? I understand that there was a clutch cable earlier on Rushmore bikes.

Looking forward to see y'all out on the road...
Let me be the first to welcome you to the forum, thanks for posting this, good catch.

Hate to have been the bearer of bad news. Look on the bright side, at least y'all have you bikes. Mine is stuck at the dealer until they get the parts...

Carrying my bike to the dealership to have it repaired scares me more than the defect.

AMEN brother!!! I'm about feed up with this recall crap! This will be the third time I've had to take it in so the odds that they will scratch it or jack something up increases...lol

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the info!

Just called my dealer. They aren't expecting parts until "early next week". He put my name on his list and will call me first when they get them in.

Just set up my 10K service & asked the service writer about the recall. The MoCo is supposed to start sending out the repair kits on Monday the 15th. Might have em by the end of the week.

Just dropped my bike this morning for the 1000 mile service, hard to believe service manager was not aware of the recall. Before I left he said he would research the recall and call with more information.
How is it that members of this forum are more informed than the people who are part of the Motor Company?

Just talked to my dealer in Sherman TX. They won't have parts till early next week and did not have details on what it entails to fix other than they think it has something to do with the "plunger" on the hydraulic clutches so any model with the new clutch will get the repair.

Asked about riding it and the service manager said go ahead HD did not tell the dealers that it was a safety issue. Not sure I want to chance it but in all fairness if I wasn't on the forum I would be riding it until they notified me.

I checked my VIN for my 15 Road Glide and it didn't come up with any open recalls so I'm not sure if it is an issue for the 15's. It has the hydraulic clutch.
