Factory 47 14" with heated grips

 

Anyone have fmb choppers. The phatt razorbacks??

 

well i narrowed it down to the vindiktas 1.5 bagger bars, fmb choppers phatt razorbacks, or factory 47s bagger bars. for sure want the 1.5" thick looking bars. cant decide between these 3 probably going to be a 12" set in black. the fatory 47 ones are 39" wide.. holy cow! opinions???

I just ordered the KST 12" mayhem bars and wire extension kit from their website.

The wire extension kit is for both L & R switch housing wires, it say's a TBW extension is not needed till 16" and after.

So I just want to make sure now, is there anything else I will need to make these bars work on my '14 street glide special???

I put those same bars on my UC with the wire extensions and the hardest part was running the wires.

 

When i installed my 12" bars I needed the wire extensions.... i did not want to re route anything or remove the plastic wire retainer setup/system. For my 14" bars i needed to extent the clutch and brake lines as well to keep factory routing. My OCD keeps me for rerouting things i like to keep everything in its factory location. It looks much neater to me !!!!
