I put these 13" yaffes on my 16 sgs myself. The wiring was a little bit of a battle but not bad. Also found that wire extensions weren't needed. I just unhooked them from the bottom of the radio and routed them back to the bars. Saved a few bucks there. I have the the la choppers primeapeson my 08 sg and I like the yaffes better. But whatever you choose I think you will like. Anything is better than the stock bars on these bikes. They made me feel like I was pushing a lawnmower down the street. Now I'm way more comfortable. Good luck and be safe.

I just had installed a set of Biker's Choice prime apes 13" on my 2012 RG. They look great. The bars are extra heavy duty and much thicker than factory bars. This did prevent me from installing my Harley heated grips.

How wide are your yaffe 12" apes?
