Who's replaced their stock 1 piece top handlebar clamp setup for a better holding clamp and who'd you use? Over the last two years, I've had my bars slip twice and it's a pain in the *** taking it apart, reset, and put 1/2 a turn on the bolts. I've had issues in the past with bushing changes causing my inner fairing to not fit down properly, so figured I'd ask around to see what you guys who've changed the bushing and entire clamp on your rushmores went with. Thanks.

Are you saying the stock lines wuld have fit?

Not sure if it's been discussed and I missed it, but found out today that Namz now makes complete 48" long hand control wiring harnesses, $60. So instead of having an extension plug into the factory wiring and having plugs buried in your bars, you just run the Namz harness from switches to under the fairing. I ordered a set today.

Installed LA Choppers 10" Twin Peaks bars today.
A Youtube video by RumblingRider and one on the Road6Customs site helped a LOT. Using compressed air to blow the pull string through the bars and using graphite instead of grease were great tips from Road6Customs.

I have LA Choppers 12" Twin Peaks on my FLHX and have ridden over 400 miles in one day without any issues. They are very comfortable, 100% better than stock bars for my 6' height.

12" Twin Peaks all stock cables.
